Autumn Fair Preview

Autumn Fair Preview Sunday 14th October 11am-5:30pm £5 (£2 with NUS card)

There’s finally a wee chill in the air and scheduled rain on the weather forecast for Clerkenwell Vintage Fashion Fair this Sunday so join us and our fine roster of traders for your autumn wardrobe edit! We’re full to the rafters with some of the very best traders who will be unwrapping their finest collections of knitwear, coats, capes, frocks and accessories from all your favourite eras so you can wrap up in style this autumn.

Over 50 traders will fill the stunning Freemasons Hall in Covent Garden with original, authentic vintage and pre-loved designer pieces many of which nail autumn/winter 18’s top trends including oversized coats, plaid, jazzy jumpers, embellishment, bold colours and animal prints but for those of you that have frequented our fairs over the years you will already know that our ethos is anything goes. Vintage doesn’t follow fashion but inspires today’s fashion so wear whatever makes you feel good, whatever the style or the era. Individuality is the biggest definer of British style and the beauty of vintage is that you can create your own look with pieces that no else will be wearing and without costing the earth.

Joining us this Sunday is conscious shopper and style muse Kate McGuire aka Converted Closet who shares our passion for vintage fashion and sustainability. We will be sharing our combined knowledge of vintage with Kate and her film crew for a documentary on vintage & sustainable fashion. We would love to hear some of your stories too and we can’t wait to see some of your purchases.

Many of you will be returning to some of your favourite traders this Sunday such as Lady Jane’s Vintage Bandwagon, London Vintage, The Antique and Vintage Wardrobe, Cloud Cuckoo Land, ChichiRaRa Vintage, Retrouve, Charm Vintage, Pret a Vintage who will have put pieces aside for you knowing your style preferences but do check out some of our returning traders and NEW traders too!
